About the Institution

A Residential Sainik School Built on Discipline, Duty and the Himalayas

Nestled among deodar and pine forests, Sainik School Uttarakhand has grown into one of the best Sainik Schools in Uttarakhand, blending a rigorous CBSE academic curriculum with the structure of military life. Every cadet who enters our gates in Class VI or Class IX is trained not just to clear the AISSEE and secure entry into the NDA, but to carry values of integrity, resilience and service for life.

As a fully residential campus, the school functions as a self-contained township — classrooms, dormitories, drill grounds, an infirmary and adventure-training slopes all within a single secure perimeter, supervised around the clock by service officers and experienced house-masters.

  • CBSE Sainik School curriculum from Class VI to XII with science, commerce & humanities streams
  • Dedicated NDA & Armed Forces coaching cell with retired defence faculty
  • Round-the-clock supervised, disciplined hostel & mess facilities

Voices from the Campus

What Parents & Cadets Say

“My son entered as a shy Class VI student and came home for his first vacation standing taller, literally and in confidence. The discipline here is firm but never harsh.”

Parent, Class VIII Cadet

“The NDA coaching cell made all the difference. Our mock SSB sessions and physical training were far more rigorous than what my cousin got at a private tuition centre.”

Alumnus, now at NDA Khadakwasla

“As a serving officer, I wanted my daughter's application-eligible brother trained the way I was. This school delivers that exact environment, minus none of the rigour.”

Parent & Defence Officer

“The trekking expeditions changed how I handle pressure. When my SSB interview came, the mountains had already taught me to stay calm under stress.”

Alumnus, Class of 2022
